Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Alfred Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 7:10 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant house in the 400 block of Alfred Avenue.

At the scene, crews saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 9:01 a.m.

Firefighters searched the house and no occupants were located. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
