Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Arthur Wright Crescent

Winnipeg, MB – At 12:17 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a single-storey house in the 300 block of Arthur Wright Crescent.

Smoke was coming from the structure when crews arrived on scene. They declared it a working fire and launched an offensive attack, using handlines to apply water to the fire. It was deemed under control at 12:41 p.m.

Residents of the home safely self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. No injuries were reported.

Damage estimates are not available at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
