Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Archibald Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 6:52 a.m., on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey commercial structure in the 0 to 100 block of Archibald Street.

When crews arrived to the scene, they found smoke coming from the building. They launched an offensive fire attack, declaring the fire under control at 7:16 a.m.

Firefighters completed a search of the structure. and no occupants were found. There were no injuries reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
