Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Milner Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 8:23 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a commercial building in the first 100 block of Milner Avenue.

When crews arrived on scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the yard behind the building. Firefighters found an outdoor fire involving building materials and immediately launched a fire attack.

Crews brought the fire under control at 8:58 p.m. and stopped the fire from spreading to any buildings.

No injuries were reported. Damage estimates are not available at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
