Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Henderson Highway

Winnipeg, MBAt 4:20 a.m. on Monday, March 18, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of fire in a two-storey commercial building in the 300 block of Henderson Highway.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the structure. They entered the building and launched an interior fire attack, knocking the fire down quickly. The fire was declared under control at 4:40 a.m.

No occupants were inside the building at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The building sustained fire, smoke and water damage. No damage estimates are available at this time.

The fire remains under investigation.
