Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Logan Avenue

Released: February 4, 2024 at 8:30 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of fire in a vacant bungalow in the 700 block of Logan Avenue.

Upon arrival on scene, crews found smoke coming from the house. They entered and fought the fire from inside, declaring the fire under control at 4:14 p.m.

Firefighters completed a search of the house and no occupants were found. There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The house had been damaged in a previous fire in November 2023. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
