Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Selkirk Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:07 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant bungalow in the 200 block of Selkirk Avenue.

When crews arrived to the scene they found smoke coming from the structure. They entered and fought the fire from inside the house, declaring it under control at 5:27 p.m.

A search of the structure was completed and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.

The house was previously damaged by a fire on August 8, 2023.
