Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a structure fire on Beacon Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 1:13 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of fire in a vacant house in the 200 block of Beacon Street.

At the scene, crews saw smoke and flames coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire from the outside using aerial ladders. They declared the fire under control at 3:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available, but the house sustained significant damage from smoke, water, and fire.
