Residential Parking Ban lifted

Released: November 26, 2022 at 7:01 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – The Residential Parking Ban is now over. We thank all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation.

A reminder that the Annual Winter Route Parking Ban began this morning and remains in effect daily from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.

With the operation’s conclusion, residents can now report missed snow clearing on a residential street using the quick and convenient snow removal request form or by contacting 311. Crews will address any reported missed streets in the coming days.

Residents are reminded to watch for temporary no parking signs throughout the duration of the winter season. We install these as needed when snow clearing, ice control, or hauling operations need the full roadway width. Vehicles parked in violation of temporary no parking signs may be ticketed and towed.

For more information about winter parking bans, to download the City’s Know Your Zone app, and for more information on snow clearing and ice control activities, see: winnipeg.ca/snow.
