City of Winnipeg Fall/Winter Leisure Guide now available

Released: August 8, 2019 at 11 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB - The combined Fall 2019/Winter 2020 Leisure Guide is now available online at winnipeg.ca at all civic indoor pools, libraries, and leisure centres, and will be available Saturday at a number of retail locations. Winnipeg Free Press subscribers will receive a copy in today’s edition of the paper.

In addition to the Leisure Guide, the City’s Fall 2019 Leisure Guide Skating brochure and the Fall 2019 Leisure Guide Swimming brochure are also available online at winnipeg.ca.

Activity registration start dates for Winnipeg residents are as follows:

Tuesday, August 27 at 8 a.m. – Registration begins for all fall and winter activities (with the exception of winter skating lessons and winter swimming lessons).

Tuesday, December 10 at 8 a.m. – Registration begins for winter skating lessons and winter swimming lessons.

Registration for non-residents begins one week after registration for Winnipeg residents. For more information, please visit City of Winnipeg - Recreation Registration Non-Resident.

Registration for all activities will be ongoing after these start dates. Visit winnipeg.ca or contact 311 for more information.

If you are planning to register for fall or winter Leisure Guide activities using leisureONLINE, please ensure that you are able to successfully log in to your online account BEFORE registration starts. If you are having difficulty accessing your account, please call 311.

In-Person Registration Locations

The following Registration Centres will operate on August 27 and December 10 only:

  • Central Registration Centre – Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex
  • South-East Registration Centre – Louis Riel Library

Limited in-person registration on August 27 and December 10 will also be accepted at all City of Winnipeg indoor pools, with the exception of Bonivital, beginning at 8 a.m. Registration at Eldon Ross will be available beginning at 1 p.m. Check in-person registration times at the facility of your choice by visiting winnipeg.ca or contacting 311.

Queue numbers at all in-person locations (except Eldon Ross) will be distributed starting at 7 a.m. on August 27 and December 10.
