Take Your Child to the Library Day is February 2

Winnipeg, MB – On Saturday, February 2, the Winnipeg Public Library will be celebrating Take Your Child to the Library Day at branches throughout the city with all-day family fun activities, including craft and story stations, special performances, concerts, and scavenger hunts. French activities will be available at Bibliothèque de Saint-Boniface.

Visitors can also swap their current library card for a special children’s card (in English or French) at no cost.

The full schedule of activities, including performers and locations, is available online at winnipeg.ca/library, in the January/February 2019 At The Library newsletter, or at your local branch. All events are free to attend.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an annual international event dedicated to encouraging families to visit their local libraries.
