Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service update: Pembina Highway and Ducharme Avenue - Motor Vehicle Collision

Winnipeg, MB – At 12:55 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Pembina Highway and Ducharme Avenue.

In total, five individuals were injured and required transport to hospital. The severity of injuries varied. One patient was transported in critical condition, two in unstable condition and two in stable condition.

Southbound Pembina Highway is closed between Grandmont Boulelvard and Rue des Trappistes. Northbound Pembina Highway remains open but motorists should expect delays in the area.

The cause of the motor vehicle collision will be investigated by Winnipeg Police Service.
