Winnipeg, MB â It’s time to lace up the walking shoes or dig out the swimsuit. The City of Winnipeg will once again be providing free access to our City-run aquatic and recreation facilities for National Health and Fitness Day on June 2, 2018 during scheduled public use times.
Always marked on the first Saturday in June, National Health and Fitness Day provides an opportunity to embrace healthy physical activity. The City of Winnipeg is encouraging all residents to use local health, recreational, sports and fitness facilities. Being more active can decrease the risk of preventable diseases related to inactivity.
For more details on times and locations for free access at City-run aquatic and recreation facilities on June 2, 2018, please visit winnipeg.ca. Public entry requirements and capacity restrictions will apply at all facilities. No pre-registration is required.
