Temporary lane closures on Taché Avenue start this Sunday

Winnipeg, MB – Starting this Sunday, May 27 at 7 a.m., two overlapping lane closures will take effect on Tache Avenue to facilitate the Tache Promenade Project.

  • Northbound and southbound Taché Avenue between De La Cathedrale Avenue and Despins Street will be temporarily closed until Friday, June 29 for crane work.
  • Southbound Taché Avenue between Provencher Boulevard and Despins Street will be temporarily closed until November 15 for construction.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on the east sidewalk.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route and to plan for additional travel time to reach their destinations.
