Public Open House for Waverley West ‘B’ Secondary Planning Process

Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeggers are invited to an open house on Wednesday, April 25 to view potential future plan concepts, speak with project team members, provide feedback, and ask questions about the project. This event will build on feedback gathered through landowner and stakeholder workshops held throughout winter 2017/2018.

The City is developing a secondary plan for Waverley West ‘B’. The area is one of seven neighbourhoods in Waverley West, and is the only remaining neighbourhood in the area without a Council-adopted secondary plan by-law to help guide future land use decisions.

Once adopted by Council, all future proposed development applications will be required to conform to the vision, objectives, and policies provided in the secondary plan by-law.
