Public invited to attend an information session to learn about Accessibility and the New Vehicles for Hire By-law

Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeggers are invited to learn more about the Vehicles for Hire By-law and how the By-law relates to and regulates accessible vehicles for hire service at an information session co-hosted by the City of Winnipeg, the Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities, and Barrier Free Manitoba.

There will be a presentation followed by a question and answer period. The presentation will include information on the regulation of accessible service, monitoring accessible service, and how engagement with the community will be carried out going forward.

Date: Monday, April 23, 2018
Time: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Location: Carol Shields Auditorium, 2nd floor, Millennium Library, 251 Donald St.
Format: Presentation at 5 p.m., followed by question and answer.
