Temporary closure of Panet Road community recycling depot extended to October 2

Winnipeg, MB – The temporary closure of the community recycling depot located on Panet Road at Mission Street is being extended to Monday, October 2, 2017. The closure is needed to accommodate construction of the new Panet 4R Winnipeg Depot which is expected to open in late 2017.

Community recycling depots are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and accept all the same recyclable materials that can be put in the curbside blue cart program.

Residents can drop off their recyclables at any of the other community recycling centres, located at:

  • Garden City Shopping Centre, along Kingsbury Avenue
  • St. James Civic Centre, 2055 Ness Avenue at Guildford Street
  • Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre, 430 Langside Street
  • Pan Am Pool, Poseidon Bay at Taylor Avenue
  • 1539 Waverley Street, at Chevrier Boulevard

Residents can also drop off recyclables at the Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot (1777 Brady Road) or the Pacific 4R Winnipeg Depot (1120 Pacific Avenue) during operating hours.
