Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeggers are invited to review the St. John’s Park redevelopment master plan at a public open house on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

In May 2017, over one hundred Winnipeggers filled out an online survey on how they use the park and what improvements they feel needed to be made to the space to improve their experience. The information gathered was worked into concept designs for the park and will be presented at the public open house.

The redevelopment features improvements to recreation and leisure options, accessibility and safety, gardens and cultural heritage within St. John's Park.

Construction is expected to begin in late 2017 / early 2018.

Open house details:

Date: Thursday, June 22, 2017
Time: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Location: St. John’s Park, picnic shelter, 1 Fowler Street.
In case of rain: St. John’s Cathedral, church hall, 135 Anderson Avenue
