Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeggers are invited to attend a public information session on the Chief Peguis Trail Extension West from Main Street to Brookside Boulevard on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Residents will have the opportunity to view, and learn about the proposed functional design, and discuss next steps with City representatives and members of the project team.

The approximately 10 kilometer road extension in northwest Winnipeg is an important component of the City’s transportation network. The project will support economic development, create recreational opportunities, and support the completion of the Strategic Inner Ring Road to reduce traffic on neighbourhood streets to make them more accommodating for public transit, walking and cycling.

A final design and cost estimate will be shared with the public at the end of 2017.
