Take a splash, dive or slide into our City of Winnipeg swimming pools!

Free Swim schedules, including teen swims and information on reduced-fee pool admissions, are available for all pools at City of Winnipeg - Indoor Pools.

Winnipeg Public Libraries
Sign up your kids for fun and interactive learning activities at the library this spring break. There’s something for everyone: get up close with owls and falcons, learn about technology, and enjoy films and concerts.

For Tweens (ages 9-12):

Cubelets Robotics: Use magnetic robot blocks that snap together and respond to light, sound, temperature and movement. Registration required.
St. James-Assiniboia Library: Saturday, March 25, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Ultimate Building Challenge: In a series of challenges, design and build structures that nearly defy gravity. Registration required.
Transcona Library: Tuesday, March 28, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For Teens (grades 7-12):

Scratch Programming: Learn the basics of this popular programming language. Registration required.
Pembina Trail Library: Monday, March 27, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sewn Circuits: Use creative and circuitry skills to create a light-up wristband or bookmark. Registration required.

For Families:

Reading with Raptors: Owls and falcons visit the library with the staff of the Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. For children ages 6 years and older. Younger siblings may attend with an adult. Registration required.
