Residential Parking Ban lifted

Released: December 11, 2016 at 7 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - The Residential Parking Ban has been lifted. The City of Winnipeg wishes to thank all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation during the Residential Parking Ban.

The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban remains in effect nightly from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. until March 1.

Missed residential streets
If some streets have been missed or only partially cleared, crews will return in the coming days to address outstanding snow clearing requirements. In the meantime, residents can park on their street since the residential parking ban only applied during the scheduled 12-hour period. When plowing crews return, no additional parking restrictions will be imposed. However, residents are still encouraged to move their vehicles should they notice that their street is about to be plowed.
