Waverley Street road closures start Friday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m. until Monday, June 20 at 6:00 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB - In addition to regular road closures on Sunday, June 19 for the Manitoba Marathon, motorists are advised of the following road closures that will also be in place that weekend on Waverley Street from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17 until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20.

Waverley Street between Taylor Avenue and Wilkes Avenue will be completely closed to northbound and southbound traffic for routine maintenance of a CN railway crossing.

Northbound Waverley Street, from Mathers Avenue to Grant Avenue will also be completely closed to all vehicular traffic.

IMPORTANT: On Sunday, June 19, the day of the Manitoba Marathon, due to the Waverley Street closure and the Pembina Highway marathon closure, motorists can expect significant delays and are urged to detour via Kenaston Boulevard instead of using Pembina Highway.
