Winnipeg, MB - Starting Wednesday, May 4, 2016, and continuing until the end of August, City of Winnipeg staff will be visiting homes weekdays between 2:30 p.m. and dusk.

Each meter reader will have photo identification, a hand-held computer and a uniform with the City of Winnipeg logo. For your safety, please ask to see identification before allowing a meter reader into your home.

The City of Winnipeg requires at least one meter reading per year from each household. Please allow the meter reader to read your meter.

If you miss our visit, a meter reading card will be left for you. Please follow the instructions on the card and provide a meter reading by phone.

For more information on water meter reading or billing, residents can contact the Utility Billing Centre by phone at 204-986-2455 or by email at or visit City of Winnipeg - Water meter reading.
