Books2Eat returns to Millennium Library

Winnipeg, MB - For the sixth year, Winnipeg Public Library and the Winnipeg Public Library Board are hosting Books2Eat, a festival combining the creative and culinary talents of book lovers and chefs.

Books2Eat will take place on Saturday, April 16 at Millennium Library, 251 Donald Street. Activities will be held at the following times and locations:

  • Smorgasbord Scavenger Hunt (ages 9 to 12 and 13 to 17): scour the library for answers to our food-themed clues.
    • Time: Noon to 3:00 p.m.
    • Location: Children and Teen Services, first floor
  • Play With Your Food (all ages): cupcake decorating, food demonstrations and more to build your culinary expertise.
    • Time: Noon to 3:00 p.m.
    • Location: Anhang and Buchwald Rooms, second floor
  • Edible Books (all ages): feast your eyes on a buffet of edible book creations by amateur and professional chefs.
    • Time: Noon to 3:00 p.m.
    • Carol Shields Auditorium, second floor
  • Kid’s Menu Story Time (all ages): a delectable family story time filled with mouth-water stories. Registration required.
    • Time: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • Location: Children and Teen Services, first floor
