Meet Morty: The loyal, affectionate dog ready for his ‘fur-ever’ home

Adoptable dog named Morty
Morty is looking for the hero in his adoption story

All dogs deserve a loving home, and we need your help to find Morty his perfect 'fur-ever' family.

Those who have met Morty describe him as a cuddle bug with a heart of gold. When he first arrived at Winnipeg Animal Services, he was afraid of the world and wary of strangers. After spending the past month in Back to Pack Rescue’s board and train program, his true personality has been able to shine.

Morty is a loyal companion who forms a deep attachment to those who earn his trust. He is wonderful with other dogs and has a gentle spirit with all animals.

This special boy is now looking for the hero in his adoption story. His perfect match is someone who 'speaks dog’ and is willing to take the time to build trust and learn his quirks. In return, you will receive his endless love and affection.

Thanks to Back to Pack Rescue’s generosity, the cost of Morty’s adoption fee will be waived. They will also provide transitional training and lifelong support.

You can learn more about Morty and his journey on Winnipeg Animal Services’ Instagram page, and view his full profile on Petfinder.

Think you might be the right fit for Morty? Contact 311 to set up a meeting with this sweet boy.

And if Morty isn’t the right dog for your family, we have many other good boys and good girls eagerly waiting for their chance to find the home, and second chance, they deserve.
