Grey Cup attendees ride free with Winnipeg Transit

Stadium Station at IG Field had also won an Award of Excellence from the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of Manitoba.
On Sunday, November 16, anyone with a Grey Cup ticket rides free to Princess Auto Stadium.

After 10 years, the Grey Cup is returning to Winnipeg.

If you’re volunteering at one of the many Grey Cup Festival events or attending the game, you’ll want to ride with us.

Festival volunteers can ride on our shuttles, as well as our regular service, for free all week by providing their ID badge or showing their uniform when boarding. For Grey Cup Sunday, attendees can ride for free by showing their ticket(s).

Grey Cup Festival events

From Tuesday, November 12 to Saturday, November 15, there will be live entertainment, interactive games, and family-friendly fun throughout the city.

We will be running two special shuttles that volunteers and attendees can take to these events:

  • Blue Shuttle: runs every 25 minutes from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. between the airport and various hotels along the way to Princess Auto Stadium and ending in St. Norbert.
  • Gold Shuttle: runs every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. between various hotels and venues in the Downtown.

We’ll also have several shuttles running. Our Blue and Gold shuttles for the Grey Cup Festival events will be operating from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the game. They will also be available for two hours postgame. We are also extending our On-Request service until 11:30 p.m.

Don’t forget to show our bus operators your ticket(s). This will let you board our buses without having to pay a fare.
