Adoption fees reduced for dogs in care for more than two weeks

Three dogs available for adoption
Carly, Nathan, and Tessa are three of the dogs available for adoption

In just one weekend, the number of dogs at Animal Services almost doubled. Many have been waiting much too long for a home, so we are lowering their adoption fees to help them find the loving families they deserve.

Some of the dogs, like Maisy and Merida, have been with us for nearly 100 days. Others, including Ripley, Moxie, Rhonda, and Annie have been waiting for over 60 days.

We also have dogs nearing their senior years, like Nathan and Bear, who are looking for a quiet, comfortable home to enjoy their golden years.

Long-term dog adoption fee promotion

Until June 20, 2026, the adoption fee for all dogs who have been in our care for longer than two weeks will be just $48.30.

Every adoption includes:

  • Spay/neuter surgery
  • First licence
  • Veterinarian check-up
  • First vaccinations
  • Tattoo
  • Microchip
