Street closures to accommodate the grand opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Winnipeg, MB - On Friday, September 19 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., the following streets will be closed to all traffic to accommodate grand opening celebrations for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights:

  • York Avenue between Main Street and Israel Asper Way
  • Israel Asper Way between William Stephenson Way and York Avenue

Vehicle access to The Forks will be maintained via Fort Gibraltar Trail and Forks Market Road during this time.

Motorists are reminded to allow added travel time and to use alternative routes in the area to get to their destinations.
