Victoria Day long weekend operating hours for City of Winnipeg facilities and services

Winnipeg, MB - All civic offices are closed on Victoria Day, Monday, May 19, 2014.

Frozen Pipe Citizen Resource Centres

The City's Frozen Pipe Citizen Resource Centres will have adjusted operating hours during the Victoria Day long weekend. Citizens can access the Centres to refill water containers, shower, and obtain information on frozen pipes during the following hours:

Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, 999 Sargent Avenue

Saturday, May 17Regular hours - 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 18Regular hours - 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Monday, May 19Adjusted hours - 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Monday as a collection day.

Swimming Pools

All City of Winnipeg swimming pools will be closed on Monday, May 19, except Pan Am Pool and Fitness Centre, and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex and Fitness Centre.

Pan Am Pool and Fitness Centre will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19.

The Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex and Fitness Centre will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19.

Regular hours of operation are in effect for all pools on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18.
