Le - We had to shut off the ultraviolet (UV) treatment for wastewater at the North End Wastewater Treatment Plant (NEWPCC) to complete necessary upgrade work. That work is finished and we are now able to turn UV back on and lift the safety warnings for residents who use the river for recreational activities, immediately downstream of NEWPCC.
