Plans for a potential renovation and expansion of the Tyndall Park Community Centre are now available for residents to view.
A few of the proposed additions include a new gymnasium and multipurpose room to help expand program offerings.
The plans were developed as part of a City Council approved feasibility study to explore the need for, design options, and costs of a potential renovation and expansion to the centre.
The study estimated the proposed project could cost approximately $8.3 million. Currently, there are no funds allocated to this project. Funding for it will be considered as part of the City’s budget process.
The plans can be viewed online and residents have until January 26, 2020 to fill out a survey to share their thoughts on the project. A drop-in information session will be held January 20, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tyndall Park Community Centre.
