Skywalk between Delta Winnipeg Hotel and RBC Convention Centre to reopen

Released: November 20, 2015 at 10:41 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Citizens are advised that the structural repairs have been completed on the skywalk that links the Delta Winnipeg Hotel and RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre. The skywalk will re-open to pedestrian traffic today, Friday, November 20, and remain open until after Grey Cup festivities have concluded.

A final, temporary closure will occur at a later date to allow for shoring materials to be removed. Following the removal of the shoring material, the skywalk will be permanently open for pedestrians.

Citizens will be advised in advance of the temporary closure to remove shoring and also of the date for permanent opening of the skywalk.

The City would like to thank citizens and patrons of the Delta Winnipeg Hotel and RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre for their co-operation and patience during skywalk construction.
