Winnipeg, MB - “Brian Whiteside has resigned as City Auditor for the City of Winnipeg, effective April 17, 2015.

On behalf of the City of Winnipeg and my colleagues on City Council, I would like to thank Mr. Brian Whiteside for five years of service as City Auditor, as well as his nearly 18 years of dedicated public service to the City of Winnipeg. Brian’s commitment to help move Winnipeg forward as a growing, thriving, and modern city is greatly valued.

A motion will be brought forward at Executive Policy Committee on April 22 to recommend Council consider Deputy City Auditor, Bryan Mansky, assume the duties of City Auditor on an acting basis. A national search for a City Auditor will begin shortly.”
