Budget Consultation Process Update

Winnipeg, MB - The City of Winnipeg today provided an update on the budget engagement process, OUR BUDGET, FORWARD which began in April 2014. This three-phase project has provided significant stakeholder feedback from the first two project phases which were implemented in 2014. This feedback has been a valuable resource for the 2015 budget planning process to date, and we want to thank all participants for their participation and contributions.

The information and reports gathered during the first two phases of OUR BUDGET, FORWARD, are available on Winnipeg.ca at OUR BUDGET, FORWARD - 2015 Budget.

This consultant-led engagement process was managed by the former Office of Policy Development and Communications through 2014. The third-phase of the consultation will occur following the adoption of the 2015 operating budget.

Information gathered through the next stage of the process will be incorporated into 2016 and future budget processes.
