Winnipeg, MB – At 7:54 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant, three-storey apartment building on Woodrow Place.
Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 9:16 p.m. One firefighter was injured in the response but no transportation to hospital was required.
Use caution in the area, as water used to fight the fire froze, creating slippery conditions. City of Winnipeg crews have monitored conditions and are applying sand and de-icing agents to roadways and sidewalks as required to improve traction.
WFPS responded to a structure fire at this location in December 2024.
