William Avenue closed between Sherbrook Street and Children's Hospital emergency entrance

Winnipeg, MB - William Avenue will be closed between Sherbrook Street and the Children’s Hospital emergency entrance west of Sherbrook Street from Friday, July 25 at 6:00 p.m. until Saturday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. This area will be completely closed to all traffic and pedestrians during this time to accommodate construction at the Health Sciences Centre.

Upon reopening on Saturday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m., William Avenue will be restricted to one lane of westbound traffic in the south curb lane from Sherbrook Street to the Children’s Hospital emergency entrance. This lane closure will be in effect from Saturday, July 26 to Monday, September 8.

Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destination.
