Princess Street at Alexander Avenue down to two lanes

Released: May 16, 2014 at 4:59 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Due to a void in the pavement caused by a water main leak, Princess Street (which is a southbound, one-way street) is currently limited to two lanes between Logan Avenue and Alexander Avenue.

One westbound lane on Alexander Avenue is open between King Street and Princess Street. However, motorists on Alexander cannot travel straight through the intersection at Alexander Avenue and Princess Street. Motorists must turn left from Alexander Avenue onto Princess Street.

Crews are onsite and will be working to repair the leak and restore the road as soon as possible.
