Closure coming to Arlington at Notre Dame

Released: September 18, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB -  Arlington Street will fully close between Adele Avenue and Winnipeg Avenue Saturday, September 19 at 6 a.m. to accommodate paving work.  

During this closure, there will be no access from Arlington onto Notre Dame Avenue or vice versa. Traffic on Notre Dame Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Alverston Street and Home Street.  

Access to the sidewalk will not be affected. Transit will be rerouted in the area and three stops will be relocated.  

We expect to reopen the roads by 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 20.  

Drivers should plan ahead, use alternate routes, and expect delays.
