Downtown road closures coming to accommodate annual Nagar Kirtan parade

Winnipeg, MB – Several road closures are coming to Downtown this weekend to accommodate the annual Nagar Kirtan Sikh Procession.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 6:

  • Memorial Boulevard will be closed between York Avenue and Broadway
  • York Avenue from Osborne Street North to Memorial Boulevard
  • Broadway from Osborne Street North to Kennedy Street

The following streets will close for two hours around 12:45 p.m.:

  • York Avenue from Memorial Boulevard to Garry Street
  • Garry Street from York Avenue to Broadway
  • Westbound Broadway from Garry Street to Memorial Boulevard

Drivers should plan alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
