Winnipeg, MB – At 3:28 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 600 block of Church Avenue.
At the scene, crews found smoke and flames coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire using a Flameguard X-Tinguish Fire Suppression Tool. This aerosol device helps to knock down fires, significantly reduce temperatures and prevent flashovers, allowing safer access.
Firefighters declared the fire under control at 4:07 p.m.
All occupants safely self-evacuated before crews arrived. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
