Plowing of major streets underway, sidewalk and pathway plow ongoing

Motorists should drive to conditions and keep back from heavy equipment

Winnipeg, MB – Crews are plowing snow from main routes.  

Crews continue to plow sidewalks and pathways across the city based on the priority system. We will start a full re-plow of sidewalks and pathways at 7 p.m. once the winds ease. 

We will start plowing snow from back lanes throughout the city tomorrow at 7 a.m. 

We will schedule our work based on the street priority system.  

Motorists should drive to conditions and use extreme caution when near heavy equipment. 

A reminder that the annual winter route parking ban is in effect. There is no parking between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on streets designated as winter routes. Those parked in violation may be ticketed and towed to the towing company’s compound.
