Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Gallagher Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:47 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a one-and-a-half storey house in the 2100 block of Gallagher Avenue.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke coming from the house. They launched an interior fire attack, declaring the fire extinguished at 4:41 a.m.

All occupants evacuated the house safely. No injuries were reported.

The City’s Emergency Social Services team was activated to provide temporary support to displaced residents.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
