Watermain break closes section of Main Street near Chief Peguis Trail

Winnipeg, MB - Crews working on the new headworks buildings at the North End Wastewater Treatment Plant have accidentally damaged a water main. 

We are assessing the extent of the damage and potential impacts to customers in the area. 

We are aware of localized flooding on Main Street near Chief Peguis. 

Main Street is closed in both directions between Seaforth Avenue and Chief Peguis Trail. 

We will provide more updates as information becomes available.
