Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Clarke Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 10:34 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded a monitored alarm in a five-storey apartment building in the 100 block of Clarke Street.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke in the building and located a fire in one of the suites. They launched a fire attack and declared the fire under control at 11:01 p.m.

Some residents self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. Firefighters helped to evacuate all others. No injuries were reported. A Winnipeg Transit bus was deployed to the scene to provide shelter to evacuated residents until they were able to return to the building.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available. Damages were primarily contained to the suite where the fire originated.
