Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fires on St. Mary’s Road, Alexander Avenue, and Corydon Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – Since last night, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) has responded to three structure fires.

St. Mary’s Road fire

At 7:23 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 600 block of St. Mary’s Road.

At the scene, crews found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 7:50 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Alexander Avenue fire

At 11:36 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, WFPS responded to a house fire in the 1100 block of Alexander Avenue.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the house. They attacked the fire and declared the fire under control at 12:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Corydon Avenue fire

At 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a strip mall in the 900 block of Corydon Avenue.

At the scene, crews found smoke and flames coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 7:25 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The fires are under investigation, and no damage estimates are available.
