Winnipeg, MB – At 7:31 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-family bungalow in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the house. Crews entered and launched an interior fire attack, declaring the fire under control at 7:42 p.m.
All occupants of the house safely evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. One individual was assessed by paramedics and transported to hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported. Firefighters rescued a pet lizard from the house.
The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
