Major South Winnipeg street closing this weekend to accommodate repaving

Winnipeg, MB – A temporary closure is coming to northbound St. Anne’s Road between Fermor Avenue and St. Mary’s Road.

The closure is scheduled to be in place from 6 p.m. Friday, September 26 to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 28.

It will allow crews to pave the street.

During the closure:

  • St. Anne’s will close after the Fermor intersection to allow both eastbound yields and westbound turns onto Fermor
  • Access to Superstore will continue from St. Anne’s Road (one lane will continue from the intersection into the Superstore parking lot) and Kingswood Avenue
  • Sidewalks will remain open with pedestrian crossings at Kingswood Avenue, Varennes Avenue, Imperial Avenue, and St. Mary’s Avenue.
