Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Bannatyne Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:02 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a commercial building in the 200 block of Bannatyne Avenue.

At the scene, crews found heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control at 6:20 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
