Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Henderson Highway

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:58 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a high-rise apartment building in the 1600 block of Henderson Highway. Additional crews were dispatched since the building was a high-rise.


At the scene, firefighters found thick smoke and fire. They attacked the fire with an offensive attack. Residents in the building sheltered in place while crews worked.

Firefighters declared the fire under control at 5:17 p.m. No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
