Outdoor aquatic season extended

Winnipeg, MB – Residents are invited to splash with us a little longer, as spray pad season has been extended by one week this year.

Spray pads

Most City-operated spray pads are planned to remain open until end-of-day Sunday, September 7, 2025. Boyd Park and Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre will be open until end-of-day Monday, September 1, 2025. Wading pools

Most of the City’s wading pools are planned to remain open until August 22 with a number of them remaining open to August 31, 2025. The following four wading pools are planned to remain open until end-of-day Monday, September 1, 2025:

  • Central Park
  • Dakota Park
  • McKittrick Park
  • St. John’s Park

Outdoor pools

Most outdoor pools are planned to be open until end-of-day Monday, September 1, 2025:

  • Freight House
  • Kildonan Park
  • St. Vital
  • Transcona Aquatic Park
  • Westdale

The following three outdoor pools are planned to be open until end-of-day Friday, August 29, 2025:

  • Fort Garry Lions
  • Provencher
  • Windsor Park
